"
See not a piece of me, view me as a whole" That's the theme of our Intellectually disabled awareness project held at IMM yesterday. Here's the mega puzzle that is pieced together by us and the members of the public.. :) The puzzle will be placed at Toa Payoh HDB hub so go take a look if you are there.

Maybe, all that I needed was a good cry... to release all the frustration that has built inside me for so long... And I am back to normal again.... but eyes are swollen.. hehehe :)
Went jogging with Celestine today but only ran 3 rounds and I was dead tired. After which, we went Ikea to eat and I can be sure that the calories that I've lost is not enough to cover the fats intake from that meal alone. And since its Ikea's sale, we 2 shopolics sure grabbed the opportunity to get some good stuuf.
So I am a gundu driver.... Both of us had planned that we shall head for Bras Basah to buy some art materials to make a present for someone... but I didnt know why in my head, I kept thinking it was Marina Square. So obviously, I drove to the wrong place. Wah! Then, had to take a long long journey to get to Bras Basah.
After the long adventure, finally it was home. Celestine came to my house and we spent the afternoon making the wonderful present. *Ahem* that person better appreciate the present! hahaha...
Anyway... I am a happy girl again.... hopefully, I dont look too ugly with my swollen eyes.. :(

When you told me u no longer needed me, I felt a sense of unhappiness. I cannot seem to explain that kind of feeling... When u needed me most, I was there to give u all that I can. But now, when things are going well, you are all ready to dump me.
Hurt is the word. Maybe, I am just too sensitive. Don't tell me that "Time will heal all wounds." It wont.

I am a happy girl..
Went out with Nana today. We did nothing but eat and shop. We ate at Nooch before indulging in sinful Bakerz inn. The dessert was yummilicious....:)
Then, it was shopping... I bought 3 T-shirts and a bottle of nail varnish today...! Need to be frugal for the next few weeks!
And yes! I must share with u my
North East line saga! After a hearty shop, I wanted to take the NEL home cause I thought it would be a faster mode of transport home. And this was when the drama began. I conveniently turned right to board the train home, thinking that I will be home in no time. The train sped off and upon arriving at the next stop, the announcement read, "Little India." DAND DANG DANG... I am further away from home! The next stop was supposed to be Clarke Quay! I quickly alighted, still thinking that I boarded the wrong train... I got down to read the MRT map and was frightened to know that both sides of the train didnt seem like they could bring me home and it was only then that I found out that the NEL has broken down. In my heart, I was like *Shit* How am I going to get home from Little India? Then, a glimmer of hope came. "Passengers going towards Habourfront, please board the train at platform A." Wah! I was so relieved! So i jumped on the train and off it went. And guess what! At doby gaut, I was asked to alight again to board the train at the opposite platform. By this time, I had lost faith that the NEL was going to bring me back home. The next best option was the bus. I scurried out of the train and out of the gantry! At least Doby Gaut is a place in which I know my directions home. But I simply cannot believe it! For 30 mins of my time, I actually did not travel at all and I paid for the journey!
What's with me and public transport recently? First was a match- making session on a cab and now this! I am really a drama queen!

I took a cab down to Bugis Junction to meet Michelle yesterday. For half the journey, the cabby kept glancing at me from the side of his eye and that was giving me great uncomfort. Then, he began talking and this was the conversation.
Cabby: Girl, how old are u?Avy: 20 years old Cabby: So in university?Avy: yesCabby: I have a son who is 22 years old and is a flight steward. He is very handsome. I think both of u are very compaitable. Don't worry, he is not flirtatious. He doesn't know how to chase girls. You look like a good girl. I think u suit my son. Wanna get to know him?Avy: eh... no...it's okCabby: My son is really good looking that's why he can be a flight steward. Just get to know him...Avy: Uncle, just stop me opposite... I can walk over.hahaha.. what a weird cab ride I had...

I wonder why I am feeling so lousy recently. Whether is it my project, myself and on a whole, my life. It's not as if things are not going well. Everything seem fine.
Feeling the numbness and lonliness. Gosh! What has happened to me?

How blur can I be?
I stayed up to watch the match between Germany and Italy and throughout the match, I thought that the team in blue was Germany and the one in white was Italy. So at the end of the 90 minutes, I screamed, "Germany won!" hahahaha... and my brother just stared at me in wide-eyed amazement. He knew it. His sis must have confused between the colours again. Just cant believe that I can be as blur as that. hahahaha
Laughed myself to bed last night. Anyway, I am happy that Italy won.
Missing my Brazil in action... hiaz..

I am truly an upset girl!
Brazil lost to France! There goes the 2 Brazil T-shirts that I bought for the World Cup.
Stayed up the whole night to watch the games between England vs. Portugal and my fav. Brazil vs. France. It was a night of disappointment. The Brazilian team just simply lacked the motivation. The only time that they were finally fired up was when France had scored a goal but it was simply too late. 3 minutes before the game ended, Ronaldinho's free kick was Brazil's last chance to even go into extra time, but with pressure mounting, he missed. That futile kick sealed Brazil's fate, ending their journey in World Cup 2006. I watched with wild-eyed disbelief as the match came to a close and my fav. team that has won 5 championships is being booted out... sob sob....
Brazil will be back... World Cup 2010...!
