Muaks!
Saturday, August 26, 2006

Have not been blogging for the longest time. And since I finally got myself to wake up so early on a Saturday morning (9a.m.), I've decided to blog.

Recruitment for Curl (Challenge ur limits) is finally over! Hooray!

The recruitment for the first day was really horrible with only 9 ppl turning up for the interview! How great! I was pretty disappointed actually.

BUT BUT BUT, the 2nd day saw a surge of people coming for Curl interview. I was so elated that I couldnt stop smiling. At least I know that my hard work has paid off.

Here's a long list of ppl that I have to thank for coming down to help me! Without their help, it would not have been possible to recruit these many ppl. Sheena, Kim Huat, Xin Yi, Kevin, Shaun and Weilian. Muaks to all you guys!

It is starting to sink in that I have a major responsibilty in my hands. It took me sure a long time to digest that fact. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will turn out well.

Thoughts...
Saturday, August 19, 2006

I heard a shocking news from my friend recently. One that made me rethink about the value of life. Hearing the story makes me want to be by her side, as a friend, a companion, lending her my shoulders and a pair of listening ears. She has gone through a lot but has remained strong. I wonder if she is pretending to be strong. Perhaps, deep down in her, she is still bleeding from the pain. I promise to put back the lost smile and stand by her.

I am suddenly thrown into confusion. Confused about my directions, my abilities and the true me. I am beginning to get jaded of everything. I just want to withdraw from this world temporarily. I need time to find myself back again, the directions I want... Time is working against me... little rest.. too many commitments.... I am starting to question my abilities... This is perhaps one of my worse days since I've started school, finding it harder and harder to adjust. Finding it harder to find a shoulder to lean on... finding it harder to hold back my tears...

Give me time to retreat after all the busy days and hopefully, I will be standing strong again. The future??? We shall wait and see...

I have been busy with my CCA stuff for the past few days. Not exactly physically tired, it's more mentally tired. Now, in my hand is a project that is due next year. One that can only be a success.

Well, but I am at the same time grateful to all who have helped and guided me along this period of time.

Firstly, it would be the ppl who came forward and voluntarily join me in my committee... Thanks a million. In particualar, I would like to thank Xin yi for designing the flyer for me and Sheena who helped me do the board for WSC fair. You guys are great! Not forgetting some of my seniors who have given me so much help during this period of time. By simply asking if I needed help, I'm already very grateful.

Tired and happy! :)

It's been a long long time since I have woken up so early in the morning! Gosh... 6.45a.m.!

Had a conference on service learning at Toa Payoh Hub today. And my thoughts... super interesting. I marvelled at the works done by students from different institutions and the talks on leadership were interesting and most importantly inspiring! Anyway, it was a morning well spent.

Then, went for session but left half way through as I am dead tired. This is due to the lack of sleep for the past few days! The next few days are going to be hectic.... but I will hang on! :)

School has started! Gone are the slacking days! At least, I can keep myself occupied. hehehe.... sure sounds like a mugger, but I am not!

Books are really expensive. I bought 2 books today and I spent $79!!!! faint.... and that's not all the books I need for this semester. A hole in my pocket.

The next few weeks will be busy busy busy. WSC fair is round the corner and the interview is the week after. But as I said, at least I am occupied. hahaha... :P

Road bullies!!!

Road bullies are disgusting!!!

I havent been in a good luck recently. Well, my car has been scratched by some idiots!!!

I was driving along Keppel Road when suddenly this motorcycle charged towards me. On it were a male and female. He started circulating around and drove super near me, trying to frighten me!! Then, he drove in front of me with his brake on, forcing me to creep behind them at 20km/hr. Wah! I wanted to scream at them lar...! After which, the female sitting at the back showed me a 'good' sign before driving up CTE.

And the silly me thought they just wanted to disturb me. But when I checked my car, *DANG* *DANG* ! i FOUND SOOME SCRATCHES AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF MY CAR!!! Ouch!!! My car is only 3 months old and these idiots had to do such stuff. I am so angry!!!

Driving luck has been bad. I better be more careful!!

An angry girl!!!

Walking down memory lane...
Saturday, August 05, 2006

Celestine, Michelle and I went back to CJC yesterday. The ride there was an adventurous one cos we were so cheapo... we wanted to go down to far east florist to buy flowers when we actually could buy them at Great World City... hahaha.... in the end, it was a futile trip cos we could not find the way there.... hahahaha

Then, finally, we were back at our comfort land. Met Ms Ng by luck and we had a great time chatting away and I bet Ms Ng never knew that we were that naughty... hahaha... We shared with her many of the nicknames we gave our teachers. In case some of you didnt know, Ms Ng was my Geography teacher as well as my S paper angel... hahahaha.. She is one deary teacher that I will never forget no matter where I am or who I become. Muaks!

We finally had class outing!!! It was great meeting up with so many of my JC friends at East Coast Park. We ate and chatted. As per normal, the class outing would not be complete without us doing crappy things like singing CJC's school song, playing animal game and lots of hilarious photographs of ourselves. Here are some photographs... :)

Badminton
Tuesday, August 01, 2006

hey... how's my new blog skin? I like the colour combination.. hahaha

Took a drive down to Celestine's house today to play a game of badminton. Halfway through the match, some pri school children came in. Of which, 2 adorable little boys decided to be the refrees of our game. Hahaha.. we didnt even ask them to do so and the 2 of them were enthusiastically counting scores for us. They were so engrossed with our game that they ignored their teacher who had been calling out to them to get changed. I found it totally amusing cos they werent shy at all about. They unbashfully gave comments like, "Smack! Go!"

Children are simply innocent and adorable. I love children!
