Yesterday was a fun fun day out with my project mates. We went to this Italian restaurant called Minotti at Raffles City. Hmm.. But the food was quite so-so... The calamari was not bad though... :) Then, our crazy group decided to drive down to somewhere away from the buzz. So they came to my place and we took the car out. Went to east coast park to drink teh tarik and chilled the night away talking. Simply love the time I spend together with my PW mates. CJ042 rocks! Yeap, after which, I sent all of them home.. with the help of sebast giving me directions... But I am still proud of myself... hahaha... Havent driven for such a long distance for a long long time after my minor accident. :O

It suddenly dawns upon me that 2006 is coming to a closure. The year is about to end but the happenings in this year will always be kept close to my heart. Many first experiences took place.

Here's a list of some of my first experiences
1. Getting my driver's license and driving all by myself
2. I began my first relationship.
3. Taking up project CurL without having a true knowledge of what it is.. kekeke...
4. First experience of canvassing such as selling mooncakes and garang guni.
5. Seeing my first C grade for my assignment in my uni life.
6. Hahaha.. and an introduction of B into my degree audit.
7. Meeting with my first minor accident at which I banged into a wall while parking my car.

It's indeed a truly memorable year for me. A year to remember and cherish.

Here are some of my new year resolutions..
1. To be nicer to him... I think my childishness is really torturing him... hahaha... :P
2. To study harder for the next semester.
3. To put in my best effort for CurL
4. To be a happy and satisfied girl for all the blessings that are showered upon me.

Finally gotten back all my results and the only word that comes to my mind is *grateful.* I did relatively well with a mixture of As and Bs. However, it turning out better than I expected kinda made me a little lost. Yeap. I am happy for what I have gotten for this semester, especially when I had so many things in my hands for me to juggle. Finally, I can relax a little before the start of the next semester.

Tmr will be my first tuition session. And also meeting up with my project mates to celebrate ah boy's bday. Feeling excited!

Mummy hasnt called back. Hope she is doing fine there.

Yeap yeap.... I am still awake at this wee hrs of the night. Hia.. getting the jitters...

So in order to kill time, I have decided to work on CurL proposal. What a workoholic! hahaha... :P After spending an hr on it, I found out that I couldn't find the file. Gosh! So I redid it! Hia...

Went out with Sheena yesterday to do some shopping and got myself a cute organiser for the new year. Quite kiddish but I love it! :) Oh, I got myself a new tuition job! Starting this friday. :)

Hopefully I can get to bed soon. It's already 2am!

Yes, I am itching again. Some rashes have appeared. Hia... but heck with it. I am still going to enjoy myself. :P I guess I am stress over the results and that's why my body is reacting in this way again.But I am a happy girl still ! I had a good night sleep last night. Woke up at 12.30p.m. today!

Thanks Sophie for lending me ur listening ears. I am feeling a lot better now. I think that over the years, in my pursue of the things I want, I could have neglected the people around me. Holding something too tightly can be a double edged sword and I am beginning to understand that. Was reading Terence's latest extra long blog entry and something he said struck me. I really know so little about my grandparents. I have been living with them since I was borned but have hardly spoken much to them. Especially in the case of my relationship with my grandmother, I have never sought to salvage it. I continue to hold on to my bad childhood memories living with her till this day. Hated her for being so unfair as well as being so mean to me at times. Causing me to cry to bed many nights cause of the things she does to me or the problems and misery she brings to the family at times. Giving my poor mum so much unneccessary pressure and problems. It just seems to continue building up and I hate this feeling. Simply, this has often made me very skeptical of all sorts of relationships. I fear to be hurt and more often than not, I choose to avoid.

As for the coming year, my greatest hope is that I can better handle relationships. With an additional person into my life, I hope to be his support and companion. It will take time but I am learning.

It's been a year of torrential emotions and new experiences that have flooded me. From CurL to my first ever relationship, I guess they have kinda thrown me into states of confusion and unpreparedness at times. However, these are experiences that I will treasure.

2006 has been a challenging year but yet it is also the most memorable year for me. :) To all my loved ones, as the year comes to a closure, I would like to say a great thanks for being part of my life.

I woke up at 5.40am to send mummy off. She has left for Myanmar for holiday. Hia... what a lonely xmas when mummy and kaijie are both away. Tmr, will have to stay home and wait for the aircon man to come and clean my aircon. So yet another boring day at home.

Went to staruhub at vivocity with daddy to sign up for cable tv. Hooray... I will have more channels to watch! Did some shopping before coming home to read my 8days. Came across this funny article about Hello Kitty in 8days.

Recently, my daily ritual has been to check my emails (hotmail, yahoo, ntu mail) and so xmas is no less special. Spent some time looking through and replying to all the mails that poured in.

As for my plans at night, just rot and watch tv. What a boring xmas! :(

Finally met up with my T09 darlings on Friday. Had lotsa fun at Mindcafe! Played Taboo and Faces... The Faces game was really crappy and funny! kekeke

Oh yeah... Mich got my present (a cool coaster) and I got her present (a whole basket of food from Marks and Spencers) . What a coincidence. :)

Hooray! I finally got my cupboard. Thanks to my dear for helping me carry the 14kg cupboard and fixing it up for me. So sweet of him. Also bought wrapper and photo frame! I am a happy girl. :)

I cant believe where I am when I am typing this entry... NTU's Lee Wee Nam Library! hahaha... Yeah.. This shows how bored I am! I am actually back in school during the holidays. Oh yeah.. not to mention is my first time coming into this infamous mugger library in NTU. kekeke...

Yesterday, Kai Jie and I went to watch dancing xmas trees at Jurong Point. One word... *Lame* hahaha... All the trees did was move around and dance to the music for 15 minutes. Yes! Avy stood there and watch some trees dance for 15 minutes... Gosh! And to spice up the boring performance, they sprayed some soap bubbles. How great... :P Hahaha...

But the next performance was impressive. Of course! It was put up by RSPHI. They did song signing. Woohoo.. one word too... *impressed* Loads of efforts put in! :)

Okie... gtg... Cant wait to meet up with my T09 mates tmr.

Xmas shopping was great fun! Hahaha... but legs are really wobbly after all the walking. Bought all the gifts that I need to buy for xmas.

Had CurL meeting after shopping. Hmm.. I guess it went well. Everyone seems to know what they need to do. :)

I sense it coming back again. Seeing those stuff on my body doesnt seem too good. Sigh. Keeping my fingers crossed. :( Who cares! I am so going to enjoy this xmas with lotsa presents and good food.

I am going to do my hair. Hooray! Hopefully, it doesnt turn out to be a disaster.

Why does it seem to be raining everyday? Hoping it doesnt rain so heavily for the next few days. Avy wants to go out!

It was MYG Xmas celebration at NUS yesterday. The NUS business school students had put together some games and activities for the all the trainees. And of course, the trainees also received presents specially selected by their teachers. And for me, I bought Kenny an orange t-shirt to brighten his day. I hope he likes it! :)

Yesterday, the MYG chairperson said to all the volunteers, that we are nothing without our trainees. Without them, none of us will be the same. Taking my own experience, Kenny has made me a more patient person. His stubborness can sometimes drive me up the wall. Yeap, perhaps, maybe I need Kenny more than he needs me... hahaha... :)

Painted my nails! Now they are nice and shiny.

Still coughing. Hoping to get well asap before Xmas. I want to eat! ;P

Hia... I am sick again. It proves to show that I am really weak.

Having a bad throat and the ulcers at the back of my mouth is killing me. Hia... Couldnt get to go out with Sophie and the rest today cos I am sick. *Sob Sob*

And that reminds me that I need to go for Christmas shopping soon. Feeling sick during my break really sucks!

Here's what I've got for Christmas exchange at V camp. And it's from Wen Wei... He claims it's his first time giving chocolate to a girl... hahahaha... Who cares? More importantly, I have toblerone to eat! Yummy! :P But I will have to wait till I am well first before eating. Christmas is coming! Time for presents!

It's a poor poor Christmas... Only window shopping and buying presents for others.. *sob sob* I have to be frugal cause my bank account is depleting... But that doesnt stop me from making my Christmas wish list.. kekeke..

1. Renewing my wardrobe (Needing new clothes for the new semester)
2. A new printer (The one at home is cranky)
3. A digital camera to capture wonderful moments
4. A new pencil case

Will continue to update the list... hahaha...

But I bet Santa will be angry with me for being such an evil girl who has hurt so many people. :( Never wanted it to happen.

Garang guni is finally over! Tired but happy!

I think the greatest satisfaction that it brought was to see many people working together, not for themselves, but with the aim of raising funds to help others who are less fortunate. It proves to show that society is not as uncaring and pragmatic as it seems.

Travelling around with the garang guni men was fun! They were really nice people and even bought drinks for me! Gosh! I thought it should be the other way round... heee... :P

In fact, I greatly admired them for their persistence and love for their trade. During much of my conversation with them, I could sense the pride they have for their job, knowing that their recycling efforts will continue to benefit our environment.

I brought home with me not only my aching hands, but feelings of admiration and happiness.

Today is shopping day with Celestine. Supposed to go play badminton today but decided that shopping will do us good too.. kekeke.. an excuse for being lazy. ;P

So much for being frugal.. I could not resist buying myself a blouse. Hmm... actually, I do not think I look extremely nice in it but still bought it cause I just wanted to pamper myself. Celestine bought a pretty skirt too. Oh yeah.. went FOX and I fell in love with this skirt with some embroided flowers on it. Well, but it's too short! What a waste! But it's kinda good for my pocket.. kekeke..

Had to cut short our shopping trip because my tummy wasnt feeling too well. I wonder if it's stress or what.. my poor tummy has not been feeling too good recently. But exams are over... ! Gosh... I wonder if it's CurL... hahaha...

Avy needs to lose weight badly. Hia... but no motivation to do so. :P

Woohoo.. Subject registration went well today cause I got all the classes I wanted! Hahahaha.. thanks to the method my dear taught me! :)

My car is home. Nice and shiny. Avy is a happy girl! :)

Did something silly today. I think I must be out of my mind to have done that. I dunno what have gotten onto me. Maybe cause I havent been sleeping too well these few nights. My body clock woke me up at 9 plus this morning when I could sleep in.

Attended Sherlyn's 21st birthday party at her house void deck yesterday. It was fun! Yummy food and had a lot of fun laughing. My sweet dear came to pick Sheena and I and calm the a little traumatised me... :) Hugs!

I had a nice day shopping with Sheena after meeting Wendy in school.

We went window shopping at Orchard Road to find out we are true *mountain turtles* stuck in our faraway school called Nanyang Technological University. So many things have changed. Gosh.

We happily thought that wallet shop still existed at Heeren and walked all the way there. The arrangement of shops at Centrepoint has also changed. kekeke... too many changes for 2 turtles who have just emerged from their shells. :P

Tmr is gonna be a tiring day. Have to give out flyers for Garang Guni. The thought of it is enough to make me feel tired. hahaha... :)
